REIACH AND HALL

REIACH AND HALL ARE CURRENTLY ACTIVE IN A WIDE RANGE OF BUILDING TYPES WHICH INCLUDE EDUCATION, HEALTH, RESIDENTIAL, COMMERCIAL, ARTS AND INDUSTRIAL. REIACH AND HALL HAS BEEN IN EXISTENCE SINCE 1965 AND HAS 42 STAFF OPERATING FROM A SINGLE OFFICE AT 6 DARNAWAY STREET IN EDINBURGH.

Reiach and Hall are working towards an architecture which places a premium on simplicity and appropriateness. The belief that a building rigorously conceived with concentration on the basic elements of architecture (context, structure, construction, material, and space) will develop its own presence, its own integrity.

Our design director, Neil Gillespie, nominated by his piers at the Scottish Design Awards was awarded 'Architect of the Year' 2004 and in the Architect's Journal, Kenneth Powell hailed that "Neil Gillespie is in the vanguard of a new breed of Scottish architect intent on bringing vitality and vigour to its new designs - while at the same time adding an international dimension to Scottish architecture."

Their award tally to date is exceptional.
