ESTABLISHED IN 1980, ELDER AND CANNON ARE A LEADING ARCHITECTURAL PRACTICE WITH A PORTFOLIO OF HIGH PROFILE PROJECTS AND A REPUTATION FOR INNOVATION AND HIGH QUALITY WORK WITHIN A BROAD RANGE OF BUILDING TYPES, MASTER PLANNING AND INTERIOR DESIGN.

In residential projects the practice has developed a strong expertise through many inner city commissions especially within sensitive contexts.

The practice has a strong design philosophy and seeks to provide each project with its own identity by evolving creative solutions to functional requirements while placing equal importance on technical, cost and programming aspects.

The office has received a significant number of important awards and lists forty-one achieved in the last ten years.  Many projects have been widely published nationally and internationally and in 2004 the practice received the RIAS Award for Best Building in Scotland 2004.
